Downtown Long Beach

dougbuis Why Sundays? Street parking is easier and the city is relaxed.

Visit Long Beach Arts and then enjoy the entire area's shopping and dining experiences. Broadway and 6th Street can bring you into town from the I-710 freeway. 3rd and 7th Streets can return you to the 710.

Pine Avenue is downtown's central attraction. It includes restaurants of many styles and prices, and is the starting point to more shopping to the east.

The East Village Arts District sponsors a Saturday night art walk each month on the Second Saturday. The Art Walk includes temporary artists' booths as well as the established local galleries.

Shopping ranges from Wal-mart (151 E. 5th Street) to specialty shops.

The Pike is the new dining and shopping area directly across from the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.
